Kickstarter Exclusive Accessory Bundle

Today we are pleased to announce a new bundle, now you can buy all the Kickstarter Exclusive accessories for just $35. The bundle includes a $20 Art Book, two sets of $10 Variant Dice and one Dice Bag. The Dice Bag is 4.3" x 5.7" (about 10.9 cm x 14.5 cm), and you can choose one from the six different designs.

Black Monster Figure Bases (30mm Diameter, with token slot)

• Number of monsters in core game and SGs that can install the base : 111  
• Number of monsters in expansions that can install the base : 40  
• Total: 151

There are 40 black monster figure bases included in the core box. If you want a base for each monster, 111 extra bases are needed.

Note: The Black Monster Figure Bases are used to track the wounds for the monsters currently on the game board, and 40 in the core game should be enough in most circumstances. The extra bases are for backup.

Holding a Grudge and Creating Scenarios

So. Have you had enough awesome stuff yet in this campaign? No? Really, Mutilation wasn’t enough for you? Okay. Here’s two more stretch goals for you then. The first is a monster we’re just about to unlock. And the second is something we think you are really going to enjoy.  

GRUDGE

You glance to your right as you walk down the corridor, and frown. It almost looks like a woman lying prone on the ground, her stringy black hair glistening with moisture. The woman twitches, then makes a sound a little bit like a sob. Is she alive?

“Hello?” you call. “Are you all right?”

You start walking towards the woman. Then her arm flops forward and slaps wetly on the floor. Freezing in place, you realize it’s not really an arm at all. The woman begins to pull herself up, and you realize just how big of a mistake you’ve made.

In an inhuman blur of movement the creature skitters toward you, its arms and legs flopping like boneless tentacles more than a human’s defined limbs. You backpedal as quickly as you can, but it is so much faster.

Wrapping its extremities around you, the creature shimmies up our body and looks you in the eyes. The somewhat human, somewhat fish face snarls, its expression twisted in inexpressible rage.

“Suffer,” it gurgles, black water pouring from its mouth. Then its tentacle arms and legs begin to squeeze, and it descends with its teeth.

Grudge is angry. And it wants to make you pay. You might hear its soft crying or strange laughter and be drawn to investigate. But by the time you see it, it’s already too late.

Grudge doesn’t move normally like many other monsters. Instead, it bides its time and accumulates grievance tokens. Each grievance token makes it stronger and its attacks more powerful. Then, when you finally enter its range, it will rush you in a mad frenzy and show you just how infuriated it really is.

SCENARIO CREATION KIT

In case you haven’t noticed, Deep Madness pretty much revolves around epic, horrific stories. But what if you could create your own? That’s right, in addition to everything else we’ve been showing you, if we reach $1,350 you will now be able to create your own scenarios with the Scenario Creation Kit!

The Scenario Creation Kit gives you the tools you need to:  

• Edit maps and other map elements.  

• Edit scenario-related components.  

• Build your own scenario with its own unique story!

These scenarios will also be sharable to the rest of the Deep Madness community in the future, so your work could very well be seen by thousands of your fellow players!

We’ll show you more of the included cards, dashboards and UI elements that will be included later. However, we can tell you right now that it will include investigator dashboards, monster cards, search cards and more!

Note: The creation kit will be a software, we are still working on the details whether it is web based or just an app.

What’s In The Box?

In case you haven’t noticed, we’ve unlocked a ton of stuff for Deep Madness. And I’m not talking about expansions and add-ons: I’m talking about all of the unbelievable miniatures and content that you will get just with your Early Bird or Investigator base pledge. Eventually all of these individual pieces will be sold separately except the Kickstarter Exclusives, but you are receiving every bit of it for one rock-bottom price because you’re awesome. We thought, though, that we’d show you a little bit of what the various collections will look like when they’re all sold separately, as well as what you’ll get in which box when your pledge arrives in the mail next year.
