New Shipping Update and More Videos!

Hey guys! I hope you've had a great week, and that the wait for Deep Madness hasn't yet made you go… well… mad. (I know it's getting close for some of you - here's looking at you, @Jordan Adams and @russonc… Though @Francois Baller and @Paposaure aren't far behind… ;) ) But at last we're back with more news!
Shipping Update
NA and EU
The boats heading to the US and France have both arrived at their respective ports. We are now heading into that most dangerous and hazardous of times for any fulfilling Kickstarter: customs. We've started the procedures to get this taken care of, but an accurate estimate for this is impossible. It could be a few days, or it could be a couple of weeks. There's just no way to know for sure. Having said that, as soon as we have more information, we'll let you know.
Just as a reminder, while your games are not yet in Australia like those on the NA and EU boats, theirs still have to be assembled (i.e., add-ons, investigator pledges, etc. need to be packed for each backer) and so hopefully you still won't be much behind them at all.
Asia
Your packages will begin to be sent out in the next 1 or 2 weeks. We will send you a tracking number as soon as we have it for you.
The Rest of the World
As soon as the EU shipment is through customs and the pledges are put together, we'll be looking at getting your pledges in packages to you directly. It's coming!
.
More Unboxing Videos
Need something else to whet your appetite while the games are en route? Well, here are two more unboxing videos we put together for you: one for Endless Nightmares, and one for Uncounted Horrors. And here is also the unboxing video from Learn to Play Games. We hope you enjoy these as much as you seemed to like the first one!
.
.
.
Once again, I hope you liked the videos. We'll have more coming up for you soon, as well as more shipping info in the very near future. We are also getting really, really close to our big reveal we keep promising you - and hiding really, really poorly. =) So stay tuned, and we'll talk to you again shortly!
A Shipping Update and That Unboxing Video

Hey everyone! We hope you’ve been having a great couple of weeks. We don’t have a ton of news today, but we didn’t want you to think we’d forgotten about you, so here’s one anyway.
The Grey Cat-astrophe
At Gen Con we became aware of a nigh-catastrophic problem in the finalized Uncounted Horrors box, an error so grievous it could have nearly ruined the entire Deep Madness experience. That’s right, friends: we discovered that there had been an error in the color choice of Jon the Cat, and, rather than being the standard umber color of the investigators, the poor feline had been colored the dark grey of the monsters instead!
Luckily for all involved, the team sprang into action and quickly had over 10,000 new cats made in the appropriate color. We will send them air-freight to the US and EU hubs, where they will be dispensed to every investigator pledge as soon as the boats arrive. We have also packed one already in each of the packages going to Asia and Australia. So, if you’re wondering why in the world you have an extra cat rattling around in your investigator pledge, now you know.
Shipping Update
Americas and EU
The boats to the US and France are still on schedule. So, in other words, there is no news. But right now that’s about the best news there could be, to be honest. We’ve been busy holding Dagon at bay, so hopefully we won’t have anything else to report for a couple more weeks. Once the boats arrive at the ports we’ll send you another update to let you know what’s going on and to give you an estimated delivery timeline. (Fingers crossed for no problems with customs.)
Also, just to remind everyone, all of the North American orders are on the boat for the US. Once the games arrive, the orders for Canada will be shipped up to a fulfilment center in Canada so you won’t be charged additional fees. Furthermore, all of the EU orders are on the boat to France, as well as all the Rest of the World orders. These orders will take a little bit longer since they had to go to France and be assembled there first, but you will get them as soon as possible.
Australia and Asia
The packing process for the pledges heading to Australia is in its final stages. We are now waiting for the Australian boat booking information, which we are expecting to get next week. We’ll post a new update about this as soon as we get news, but your games are definitely coming soon as well, friends. (Just as a reminder on this, too, while you Australians will have to wait a little bit longer for your boat to arrive, you won’t have to wait for your pledge to be packed once it hits your shores – something that hasn’t happened yet for EU and US backers. So hopefully you’ll still get your games in the same general timeframe as people in the US and EU.)
Meanwhile, the packing process is also winding down for Asian orders. After the packing process for the Asian pledges is finished, we’ll start to send out the packages directly from the warehouse. As such, backers in Asia may begin to receive tracking information at the end of this month or the beginning of next month.
The Unboxing Video
As some of you know, a few weeks back I received a package in the mail. Actually, three of them. I posted some pictures on Facebook and got a lot of people excited, and promised I’d have a video out to everyone shortly. And then… nothing. Until today.
That’s right, I got a finalized copy of Deep Madness. I had not seen any of the physical stuff from the game since Gen Con 2017, so this was an absolute treat for me. There’s a couple technical parts in the video I’m still not thrilled with (some graininess, etc. – have I mentioned we’re perfectionists?), but hopefully it will give you all a really good idea of what you’ll be getting when the game arrives on your doorstep in a few weeks. Needless to say, I was not disappointed, and I don’t think you will be either.
So, without further ado, here’s my unboxing video of Deep Madness the Core Game.
.
Guys, seriously, this might sound weird coming from the guy writing the DM update, but the quality in this game is absolutely top-notch. I am incredibly impressed. That might seem like empty praise, but I assure you it’s not. I was a big fan of this game before I ever started working on it, and I have personally backed a ton of projects (somewhere around 119 currently.) So, when I say the quality in Deep Madness is up there with some of the best projects I have backed, I hope you won’t see that as biased hyperbole. (Being as all I did was write for it, I think I can still say that and get away with it. ;)
There will be several more videos like this one coming (there are a lot of boxes in Deep Madness, after all.) So stay tuned for more!
Well that’s all for today, folks. As some (possibly many) of you know, there are some big announcements and very fun stuff coming your way shortly, but we still want to make sure that all of the shipping is well on its way before saying anything more. (Translation: everyone has to wait with our Australian friends as we work to get them a boat. =D) So, while it is possibly the worst kept secret on Kickstarter right now, we’re going to keep it our secret for just a little while longer. In other words, keep your eyes open for those future Deep Madness updates!
Until next time, have a great week!

Hey guys! We have minor updates about shipping for you. Here we go:
We also have news for backers in Asia and Oceania. Your order is already on the truck to Xiamen, and they will be packed in the warehouse in Xiamen. We will come back with more shipping information about Australia.
The ship to the United States has left the port of Hong Kong earlier today, so good luck!
That's it for today. We'll be back very soon with more news. Have a nice day!
The 100th Update! Art Books! Translation Packs! Gen Con!
– Sat, Jul 28, 2018 at 12:45:19 AM
It's finally here, friends!
No, not the boats with Deep Madness. (Cue weeping and lamentations… Though they're coming soon!)
It's the 100th update!
To celebrate this auspicious occasion, we decided we would show you two items that have been long awaited but unseen until now: the art book and the translation packs! These are the finalized products that you will be receiving, not samples. We hope you like them.
The Art Book
The art book is a hardcover tome measuring 10 inches by 11 inches (255 x 279mm) that is 100 pages in length. There is some absolutely stellar art in this book. Much of it is (unsurprisingly) from Deep Madness, but there are also a couple pages that offer you all a sneak peek at Dawn of Madness's art. I'm also now supposed to write that, more importantly, our author, Byron Leavitt, has created a lot of story content for the art book. But that sounds kind of pretentious to me, especially when the art in this book is this mind-blowingly incredible. =)
Having said that, the story in the art book is pretty dang cool. (Our whole team helps with the story ideas, so I can still say that. ;) It will fill in some gaps and augment Deep Madness's storyline, starting centuries before Deep Madness and moving up to the fall of Kadath, then following some of the monsters as they stalk Kadath's halls - and the workers cowering in them. It also integrates with the Deep Madness story, adding additional glimpses into this world without spoiling too much or retreading ground covered in the core game. Plus, if you happen to really enjoy one particular story from the campaign updates, those are almost all collected in this book. (There were a few that were completely rewritten, though, when their roles in the game were massively reworked.)
So, without further ado, here's the art book in all its glory:
Now we'd also like to show you the translation packs! Each of the four available languages contains three products: the core game and stretch goals ( as featured in the Endless Nightmares and Uncounted Horrors boxes), Rise of Dagon, and The Oracle's Betrayal. (Translated cards for the standalone Epic Monsters are contained in their own respective boxes.) Fun fact: we massively overspent on these both in time and funds. We were way under in our initial estimation on these in almost every conceivable way, from the costs of translation and proofreading to manufacturing and plain old hours, but we decided it was worth it because you guys are. We appreciate you, and we want you to have the best. We hope you'll find these to be just that. And, when you're looking through the packs and wondering if you got your money's worth, let us reassure you: you did. =D

Gen Con
Diemension Games is going back to Gen Con!
This year we will be at booth #3065 (the very top right corner of the convention center map).
Booth #3065.
If you happened to stop by and see us last year, we’ll literally be three booths away from where we were then. (That’s right: you’ll still find us as soon as you need to use the bathrooms. Once again you’ll be able to take care of business right before departing straightaway into a hair-raising underwater adventure – or the reverse, should the adventure prove too taxing. Win-win.) We will also have the same size booth as last year, though we’re working to organize it differently so that we can fit in everything we want to show you all.
For starters, you’ll be able to see all of Deep Madness’s products in every bit of their glory, as well as a good chunk of the Dawn of Madness miniatures and a number of the incredible Celestial models. We will also have an area set up for running Deep Madness games, but this year we will only have one table running rather than two to make space for all the additional stuff we’re bringing. This means that the game schedule will be even tighter than it was last year. We recommend coming to sign up for your spot first thing when you get to Gen Con in order to ensure you get your slot secured.
Deep Madness final products.
Now, some of you might be wondering if we will have copies of Deep Madness on-hand to sell at the show. The short answer is, no. You guys have been waiting long enough for your copies, and we don’t want to risk undermining your trust in us. People will be able to participate to some degree with Deep Madness, but they will not be walking out of the con with game boxes under their arms before you get your pledges.
While we won’t have Dawn of Madness available for demo, we will have a lot of answers to questions you may have, whether about the rules, story, schedule, or characters. As such, feel free to chat with us about it and we’ll help you out to the best of our abilities.
Sister from Dawn of Madness.
Birth from Dawn of Madness.
We will have a couple other surprises there, too, including potentially a fun, humorous little social game we’d like to show you.
A little card game with horrors.
Last of all, in addition to some juicy Celestial tidbits, we will also be selling the resin miniatures for the Celestial Genesis series. What’s more, they will be available at special convention pricing. There won’t be a better time to grab these amazing limited-run models!
G'gong and Nüwa will be released at Gen Con 2018.
We can’t wait to see you at Gen Con!

Odds and Ends
David & Pris
We had a couple of other small things we wanted to tell you about. First, many of you have been asking for pictures of David and Pris for quite some time. So, here you go:
David.
Pris.
Scenario Creation Kit
We also know many of you have been wondering what's going on with the scenario creation kit. Basically, this has proven to be a very difficult task for us to pull off, and we're still figuring it out. One reason for this is that the scenarios in Deep Madness have grown immensely more complex and nuanced than we originally thought they would be. Each one is completely different, with unique rules, components, objectives, and play styles. (You'll see what we mean when you get the game. Which will be soon.) Because of this, we're still trying to figure out the best way to create a tool that's easy to use, but also functional and able to create the rich depth that we hope will become synonymous with Deep Madness. In short, we bit off a lot to chew with this creator. We're sorry it's not ready to go yet, but we ask that you bear with us as we work to make it the best that we can.
Well, that’s it for this update, friends. As we mentioned above, we’ll be back soon with more shipping info, as well as some other cool stuff. I’ve also been busy recording a bunch of videos for you guys the last two weeks, so keep an eye out for those to head your way shortly. Until next time, though, have a great day.
Vessel to North America

Hey guys! Here's a brief update about North America shipping progress.
The containers heading to the US have left the port of NANSHA, China today. The next stop is the port of Hong Kong. At there, the cargo will be loaded with the large container ship MOL CONTRIBUTION, which is expected to depart from Hong Kong on July 30th, and to arrive at Jacksonville, FL, United States on August 29th, two days ahead of the expected 31st. Then the packages will be assembled in the warehouse hold in Florida.
